I have a blog on the site that I update every couple of days, Ive added the website url to various directories and Ive submitted it to search engines…

How long will it be until I see an increase in my PageRank?

The main thing that you should build more links to get high PR. Google will update their page rank algo every 3 months. If you gain thematic links then you will get good page rank.
