The more descriptive the keywords are (also known as Long Tail Key Phrases), the more likely we are able to capture and attract specific customers. It will be less competitive compared to broad keywords, therefore, it has high potential to bring traffic to your website.
The search engine works by sending out spiders to fetch documents as many as possible. These spiders reads the documents and create index based on words contained in each document. Your website will not be easily found if you don’t use precise keywords.
Backlinks
Another option used by Internet users to find information is by clicking on a link from another website or page which lead them to the related topic they are looking for. This is also known as backlinks. Backlinks are important in SEO. If you want to have a good page rank, you need to do well in Google Search Results.This requires backlinks.

Google, yesterday, released a Toolbar PageRank update. I reviewed the changes with Google over the past month, including a more detailed explanation of the MayDay update. Google increased the title tag limit to 70 characters. Yahoo Search is becoming really unstable, according to Webmasters. Google let’s you advertising your content network ads on the top 1,000 sites, the top one is Facebook. Google’s Interest Based Ads are really in your face these days. The number one Google organic result is not worth what it was anymore. Google launched App Search in Google Mobile Search. Google was sued over their walking directions. I also displayed the Memorial Day badges, logos and themes from the various search engines. Next week is SMX West, we aren’t doing live coverage, but we may do other things. That was this past week at the Search Engine Roundtable.
In this fascinating video interview industry leader Bruce Clay predicts that search rankings will soon not be the prime Search Engine Optimization (SEO) metric. Three factors are converging to bring this about: (1) behavioral search, based on a user’s normal ‘neighborhood’ or ‘community,’ (2) intent-based search, and (3) universal search. Since each of these trends makes it unlikely that ranking software will see the same ranking as any individual user, ranking per se will fade as the primary way of measuring SEO success, and be replaced by targeted traffic.
